New discovery: Sashiko

I am slow in discovering sashiko embroidery (link is to purlbee.com tutorial).  The repetition in most of these patterns this seems easy, mindless, yet soothing.  I may incorporate that into my embroidery designs in the future.

A few things that caught my eye today

A shirt cuff wallet from RePlayGround.  It’s a wallet made out of a cuff of a plaid shirt.  It’s a great use of scraps and it looks very classy.
An embroidered replica of our favorite “cock sauce” (Sriracha).

And TetrisGems.com, which sells Tetris-themed jewelry!  Besides the above-pictured necklace, I really like the idea of the couples ring.  [...]
